Erin Miserlis holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a masters in human
services administration. She has spent the better part of the past
decade working in the non-profit field and suffering from Clomid induced
hot flashes. The hot flashes and subsequent fertility treatments led
to an acute awareness of the emotional stress that is a large part
of the infertility process. After four miscarriages and enough fertility
treatments to qualify as a science project, Erin was happily able to
conceive two children.
Erin currently resides in San Diego with her husband and two children. After the birth of her son, Erin decided to take some time off to focus on being a Mom. This has resulted in a complete loss of all Nordstrom purchased clothing and a newfound respect and patronage of Target and Bumble and Bumble's No Wash Dry Shampoo.
By telling her story, Erin hopes to provide a sense of camaraderie for individuals dealing with infertility and show that with a little bit of humor you can get through anything.
