Fertility Follies

Seeing that many of you who take the time to read my monthly musings about our fertility challenges are friends, I felt it was only right to warn you in advance that you will be reading about Peter and I having (gasp) sex.  Despite the fact that we have two kids, this is still a weird topic when brought directly to the surface  to not only read about but god forbid, imagine.

To my wonderful Mother in Law whose weekly babysitting allows me the opportunity to write, please don’t hold this against me.

So, for you few tough cookies that can take it, I assure you it is quick and painless and completely G rated, but here is your warning none the less.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all of the great feedback so far.  As the book is progressing, I am amazed at how many people I meet that are dealing with fertility issues.  Your stories keep me motivated and remind me that this book is needed not just for a good laugh but to show others that they are not alone.  As I sit and type today I have one child at Pre-school and one napping quietly upstairs.   After being told I could never have kids and I should give up, the irony of that statement is not ever forgotten.

There is one new post being added today and a few more are in the works.  Remember, I’d love to hear your stories too, they are an integral part of this book.  Please feel free to email me with any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, or just to vent.  I remember how frustrating this time can be.  For all of you Mom’s and Mom’s-In-Waiting, hang in there, it does happen.  Maybe just ditch the Chlomid and try some good old fashioned tequila instead.  Worked for me and it was a heck of a lot more fun.
